RLCMA COVID-19 RESPONSE: The pandemic is affecting us all, but for some individuals and families in the Bay State, it’s a crisis. Disadvantaged residents are struggling to pay rent and are without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food - especially those who are elderly, disabled, immunocompromised and without a vehicle. To address this issue, RLCMA has expanded our mission: Our volunteer Food Rescuers have picked up over 125,000 pounds of food from our donor partners and delivered it to those in need of donations every day since March. This includes over 23,000 individually packaged meals brought directly to the doorsteps of over 300 households struggling with food insecurity. RLCMA has implemented eligibility and safety guidelines for our food donors, Rescuers and recipients so we may all be a part of this crucial effort without risking anyone's health and to ensure food safety. We need your help. Please volunteer solo or as a team, donate food as a business or support RLCMA's mission to achieve food justice throughout the Commonwealth.

RLCMA bridges the gap between food excess and insecurity
Food safety is our priority. RLC only accepts food donations that are from federally ServSafe certified businesses.
We strategically match each food donation to best serve our recipient partners for this free service.
RLCMA has created guidelines specific to COVID-19 for all Food Donor Partners, Recipients and Volunteers to ensure everyone's safety.
Who we work with
We have all found ourselves facing challenges that are incomprehensible. The fear of being without food during these past months has been experienced by many families and senior citizens. Your donations to the City of Everett has relieved this fear to a great degree. Without all of the hard work you do, we wouldn't be able to feed the families in our City. I want to personally thank you for your unwavering commitment to feeding the vulnerable population of the City of Everett. On behalf of my family and I, we are grateful.
